Golden Dreams unveils custom iPhone 4S with diamonds, gold – news.

Switzerland-based brand Golden Dreams just unveiled a special luxury edition of Apple’s iPhone 4S.

The device is an iPhone 4S 64GB and it comes with a choice of five different high-class finishes – two Desert editions with alligator leather, Gold edition in either 24K or 18K gold, and Diamond edition that can carry up to 4 thousand pristine rocks on its back.

I won’t spend tons of money in buying this elite edition of Iphone 4s…. But this is fashionable and classy

STEAK ATTACK!!! @Grills and Sizzles Dinner Buffet

This is my first Food Blog forVMCDomain and our first stop is the Dinner Buffet @ Grills and Sizzles (Location: 52 Times St. cor. Examiner St., West Triangle, Quezon City).

My Bestfriend told me about this place before the Holy week and I couldn’t resist, so we decided to try the place on Easter Monday with my Allianz barkada.

It was a small restaurant with a great western ambiance. The dinner buffet starts @6PM-10PM for 300++ (Im not sure if it is 357 or 370 php…Approximately $9.00 only. Inclusive of VAT and Service Charge )

They served Steak with Mushroom Sauce and garlic. (It is not the usual cut for a steak, however the taste and texture is just the same with the steak that we usually order in some fancy and expensive retaurants)Image

They also have Rotini Pesto and  it was just ok for me.Image

The Spicy Sausage and Mushroom with cheese  is a great partner for the Steak . Image

Paella is just right…kulang  lang ng seafoods  🙂Image

Potato Salad is so cheesy…medyo nakakasuya 😦 Image

The dessert was pleasing to the eye. We had fruit jellies, churos and Ice Cream (Cookies and Cream, Avocado, Vanilla and Strawberry). I love the taste and the presentation of churos, I finished 7 servings.

My Grills and Sizzles experience was good but nothing spectacular and special, except for the steak and the affordable price.

I give this buffet a 7 out of 10 Burps for this experience!

Sheryl Vicente’s “Sombra” @Privé Luxury

Fashion + summer + Sheryl Vicente = Elegance

Sombra Event last March 29 2012 was a blast! I had a chance to have a glimpse of Ms. Sheryl Vicente’s Summer Collection @ Privé Luxury Clubbing inFortStrip. We arrived @ exactly 9PM and the event started 30 mins after.

The collection showcased her unique and elegant style for the modern Filipina + the fact that she considered the summer season.  She used soft plain and printed fabrics in creating her masterpiece.

Overall, my rating for her collection is 9 out of 10 needles. The collection is superb and totally sheek for the modern Filipina. Athough the fashion show is quite short, it showcase diffrent style from casual to evening wear. Below are the pictures during the event:

NOYNOYING…is this a funny or a serious matter?

Noynoying (pronounced noy-noy-YING[1] or noy-NOY-ying[2]) is a protest gimmick in the form of neologism which critics of PhilippinePresidentBenigno Aquino III have used to question his work ethic, alleging inaction on Aquino’s part on the issues of disaster response and of rising oil prices. A play on the term planking and Aquino’s nickname, “Noynoy”, Noynoying involves posing in a lazy manner, such as sitting idly while resting their heads on one hand and doing nothing.

The term was first used last October 8, 2011, issue of Manila Standard Today. In their opinion article, columnists Karl Allan Barlaan and Christian Cardiente criticized Aquino’s slow response over typhoons Pedring and Quiel, which left parts of Luzon island, including Metro Manila, in a state of calamity.

Aquino convened the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council five days after Pedring hit the country and a full week before overseeing distribution of food and water to the survivors, which was after he attended the 30th anniversary celebrations of McDonald’s in the Philippines.

They wrote: “The opposition called the government’s calamity response ‘insensitive, indifferent, and slow.’ Palace ally House Speaker Feliciano Belmonte Jr. urged the President to visit the typhoon victims ‘to boost their morale.’ The Internet was abuzz with a newly-coined word, ‘noynoying.’ The word translates to ‘procrastinating,’ members of a UP Diliman alumni social networking group say.”

Do we really have a President as of today? I think some of the Filipinos are looking the Scenario on a Macro Level and not the overall changes. We can say that Noynoying is IN just like the planking last year. But as Filipino, do you think this will give us a positive image in the International Community?

What do you think? Is it a funny or a serious matter? Answer the Poll below 🙂
